After my post on the Farmington, NM campground, I wanted to share a few photos from our RV spot in Santa Fe, NM.

We researched a bit to find a scenic camping spot that was still close to the downtown art scene, and found a few in the Santa Fe National Forest (which also incorporates a few state parks).

It was completely dark when we started our drive up the mountain, so we actually ended up at the wrong campsite!  We thought we pulled into a primitive site (meaning no electricity or water), so we ate a candlelight dinner and went to bed early. How surprised were we to wake up in the morning and find that we had full hookups available!

And a closeup to show you how cold it was in February! Cory’s wearying a fleece, a sweatshirt, AND a windbreaker.
